Yellow Dzambhala is called "Nora" (ནོར་ལྷ་) in Tibetan, which translates to "God of Wealth" in Chinese. His Tibetan name is also "Dzambhala Serpo" or "Zangs Ser" . Because his skin color is yellow, he is known as the Yellow God of Wealth.
He is a Dharma Protector (Dharmapala) deity of Esoteric Buddhism and is considered the Chief of all Wealth Gods. Yellow Dzambhala is one of the Five Jambhalas (Five-Colored Gods of Wealth) revered by all major schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
Yellow Dzambhala is depicted with his upper body bare and his lower body draped in a skirt. His right hand holds a wish-fulfilling jewel (mani gem), which symbolizes the light of treasure illuminating the ten directions and increasing the merit and fortune of all sentient beings.
