The five dharmakāya forms of Manjushri Bodhisattva are known as Yellow Manjushri, Four-Armed Manjushri, White Manjushri, Black Manjushri, and Red-Yellow Manjushri. They respectively symbolize “Intelligence,” “Purity,” “Scholarly Youth,” “Lion,” and “Wisdom.”
The principal deity, Manjusri Bodhisattva, is depicted with one face and two arms. His countenance is benevolent, his posture graceful. He wears a five-tufted crown, holds a lotus in his left hand, and wields the sword of wisdom in his right, symbolizing the ability to sever all afflictions of sentient beings. Clad in celestial robes with flowing scarves, he sits in the full lotus posture upon a lotus throne. The sutra chest placed upon the lotus in his left hand signifies the immaculate wisdom of Prajna.
Manjusri Bodhisattva symbolizes supreme wisdom, fostering intellectual development and heightened insight. He particularly aids children in academic success, enhances officials' fortune and blessings, and brings increased wealth and prosperity to merchants. Manjusri protects those born in the Year of the Rabbit, boosting creativity and innovative abilities to help you outcompete rivals and achieve remarkable career advancement.
